The St. Tammany Retired School Employees Association wll meet on Thursday, March 14, to hear LSU Agricultural Center County Agent Will Afton speak about Superplants and soil and lawn maintenance.
The meeting will take place at the David Treen Instructional Technology Center in Mandeville, with a social networking time starting at 9:30 a.m. and the general meeting starting at 10 a.m.
In connection with the presentation, there will be a "plant swap" and members are invited to bring a plant and take a plant of their liking. Group president Donna Harvin says, "Please bring a cutting or bulb from your favorite plant. Attach the name of the plant as well as hints for the best light and watering conditions."
